The journal aims to promote and maintain a high standard of scholarly work in the field of educational technology, by contributing to the ongoing discussion and advancement of the research field. With its Diamond Open Access business model, it intends to disseminate widely and democratically research findings, theories and methodologies, to promote a culture of Educational Technology especially in countries, like Italy, where there is still resistance to educational innovation and where technological advancement cannot be taken for granted.
As the first journal dedicated to this research area in Italy, it has always been an essential reference point for researchers and educators at national level. Today the journal addresses the international arena and welcomes contributions and readers from all over the world.
