EVOLUTION IN THE CONSTRUCTS OF INTEGRATION AND INCLUSION IN ITALY AMONG MIGRANT MOTHERS AND CHILDREN: A STUDY BASED ON DIGITAL TOOLS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This eleven-year research study analysed changing perceptions of integration and inclusion among migrant mothers and their children in Italy. Changes were measured between two different times/years: (T1-2006) and (T2-2017). During the research activities, we used several digital tools: an interactive whiteboard (IWB); the OperaVOX app, which allows measurement of vocal prosody directly from the other category of tools employed, namely i-devices, and tablets. The results show positive evolution between 2006 and 2017. Data from 2017 demonstrate development of a cultural identity that alternates between the values, ideals and language of the heritage culture and those of the adopted country.
