The emergence of the concrete hypertext
Main Article Content
Abstract
The convergence of emerging technologies, such as Augmented reality, the Internet of Things, Robotics, 3D printing and Conversational automata, is giving rise to a gigantic outpouring of ideas, models and tools that encompass the virtual and the real. These are “hidden” technologies in the sense that the entire physical world can be regarded as a “concrete hypertext” in which virtual and real, technological and “natural” are becoming hybrid and intertwined. This emerging scenario offers completely new possibilities for interaction and learning that we ought to start appropriating now.
